LASER

TATTOO REMOVAL OPTIONS

Laser tattoo removal.

My advanced nano laser tattoo removal technology targets the ink in your skin and breaks it down into tiny particles, allowing your body to naturally eliminate the ink over time.

I will customise each session based on the size, colours and location of your tattoo, ensuring optimal results with minimal discomfort.

Laser tattoo removal is a cutting-edge method that offers a highly effective and precise approach to eliminating unwanted tattoos. Still considered the safest and most effective method of tattoo removal, this technology has revolutionised the tattoo removal industry, providing faster results and greater satisfaction for clients.

SCIENCE

HOW DOES LASER TATTOO REMOVAL WORK?

Laser tattoo removal employs a high-powered laser to target the ink particles within the skin. The laser energy is absorbed by the ink, causing it to break down into smaller fragments. Over time, these fragments are naturally eliminated by the body’s immune system, resulting in the gradual fading and removal of the tattoo.

Different wavelengths of light are used to target specific ink colours, ensuring that the treatment is effective for a wide range of tattoo pigments.

BENEFITS

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF LASER TATTOO REMOVAL?

Precise and Targeted: The advanced laser technology allows for precise targeting of the tattoo ink without damaging the surrounding skin, resulting in a more efficient and accurate removal process.

Effective on Various Ink Colours: Laser tattoo removal can effectively break down a wide range of ink colours, including stubborn hues such as reds, blues, and black, which may be more challenging to remove using other methods.

Faster Results: Compared to traditional tattoo removal methods, laser treatments often yield faster results with fewer sessions, depending on the size, age, and location of the tattoo.

Suitable for Most Skin Types: Laser tattoo removal is appropriate for a wide range of skin types, as the treatment can be customised to address each individual’s unique needs and skin characteristics.

Minimal Risk of Scarring: Advanced laser technology is designed to minimise the risk of scarring and damage to the surrounding skin. Proper aftercare and adherence to the technician’s instructions are essential to ensure optimal healing.

SALINE

TATTOO REMOVAL OPTIONS

Saline tattoo removal.

Saline tattoo removal is a mildly invasive alternative to laser tattoo removal. I use a specialised saline solution to gently lift the ink from your skin, resulting in a gradual lightening of the tattoo over multiple sessions.

HOW DOES SALINE TATTOO REMOVAL WORK?

The saline tattoo removal process utilises a specialised, sterile saline solution that is carefully introduced into the skin where the tattoo ink resides using similar methods to the original tattooing process.

The solution works using a process called osmosis and by creating a controlled scab that lifts the ink particles to the surface of the skin. As the scab naturally heals and falls off, the ink is gradually removed, resulting in a lighter appearance of the tattoo.

BENEFITS

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SALINE TATTOO REMOVAL?

Safe for All Skin Types: Saline tattoo removal is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and poses minimal risk of adverse reactions.

Chemical-Free: The saline solution used in this process is a natural, chemical-free alternative that ensures a gentle and eco-friendly approach to tattoo removal.

Low Risk of Scarring: Unlike chemical or surgical methods, saline tattoo removal has a lower risk of scarring or skin damage, as it works in harmony with the body’s natural healing process.

Effective on Stubborn Ink: Saline tattoo removal is particularly effective on stubborn inks, such as greens and blues, that can be challenging to remove with traditional laser treatments.

Minimal Discolouration: As the saline solution gently lifts the ink from the skin, there is a reduced risk of skin discoluoration or pigment changes.

FAQ'S

There are several main methods of tattoo removal including laser removal, saline removal, surgical excision, and dermabrasion. Laser and saline tattoo removal are two of the safest, most common and effective methods.

Laser tattoo removal uses powerful laser light that reacts with the tattoo ink, breaking it down into tiny particles. The laser targets the pigment while leaving the surrounding skin untouched. The body’s immune system then removes the broken-down ink particles naturally.

Saline tattoo removal works by tattooing a specialised saline solution into the skin, creating a hyperosmotic environment that helps draw out the tattoo pigments over time, resulting in their gradual fading and removal.

Several factors can impact the success of tattoo removal, including dark skin tones, the size and colour of the tattoo, the depth of the ink in the skin, the type of ink used.

Laser removal works well for most tattoo pigments, but there can be challenges with certain colours, such as yellow and green. Different wavelengths of laser light are used depending on the colour of the tattoo ink. Saline removal is not colour selective and can remove most colours of tattoo ink. Combining techniques can help achieve a superior level of removal.

The number of sessions required depends on various factors, including the size, colour, and age of the tattoo, as well as the individual’s skin type. On average, most tattoos require between four and twelve treatment sessions for complete removal.

The length of each session varies depending on the size of the tattoo and the methid of removal. Small tattoos being treated with a laser may take only a few seconds per session, while larger tattoos can be treated in a few minutes. Saline removal sessions take longer due to the method being more labour intensive.

Laser tattoo removal can cause some discomfort during the treatment, often described as a rubber band snapping against the skin or hot fat splashes. However, the pain is generally tolerable and sessions are very quick. Saline removal is comparable to the pain of getting a tattoo and less comfortable than laser due to the treatments taking longer to complete.

Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, and hypopigmentation (temporary lightening of the skin) in the treated area. Proper aftercare is crucial to minimise the risk of scarring or infection.

Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling and bleeding in the treated area. You will experience drying and scabbing as the area heals. Proper aftercare is crucial to minimise the risk of scarring or infection.

The healing process can vary, but typically involves redness, swelling, and scabbing in the treated area. It usually takes several weeks for the skin to fully heal regardless of the removal method.

Laser tattoo removal is generally considered more effective, especially for darker, larger and more stubborn tattoos. Saline tattoo removal can be effective for certain colour pigments, smaller tattoos and areas that are not safe for the laser (e.g. around the eyes). Combining methods can often get the best results.

While scarring is possible with any tattoo removal method, when performed by an experienced professional, both laser and saline tattoo removal have a low risk of scarring and both have significantly lower risk of scarring than surgical or chemical tattoo removal.

Complete removal of all tattoos is not guaranteed with any method. The effectiveness of tattoo removal depends on various factors, including the tattoo’s size, colour, age, and individual skin response.
